| "If This Isn't Love. . . " | ||||||||
| In the past several decades I’ve spent a good deal of time editing and archiving the huge body of work I’ve accumulated. One thing became abundantly clear to me in organizing this retrospective. My favorite theme has been love – innocent and erotic, passionate and platonic, serious and silly. Lovers, parents and children, people and their pets, siblings, playmates and soulmates – love is the highest expression of relationship. In this age of cynicism, pessimism and fear mongering, we need to be reminded that love is what maintains and transforms us. Sometimes it even makes us giddy. As the song goes: “If this isn’t love, then maybe I’m crazy!” | ||||||||
