Thirty-eight Feinstein flowers adorn the new Perelman Performing Arts Center at Ground Zero, NYC
As the final piece of the plan to rebuild the World Trade Center Campus, the Perelman Performing Arts Center has become New York City’s premier performing arts center. With over 60 different stage and seating configurations including moving walls and flooring, the opportunities to experience the best in performance arts are endless.
Thanks to a generous donation from philanthropist Helen Bing, 38 Feinstein floral photographs from his book 100 Flowers (Bulfinch Press, 2000) are hanging on the third floor Artist’s Level of the PAC. These spaces serve artists, production and company management, and artist’s guests. As a native New Yorker, Harold would be so proud to know that his work will be enjoyed at this venue dedicated to the indominable spirit of the city. Judith Thompson, Harold’s widow and Director of the Harold Feinstein Photography Trust, has been invited to have a private walk-through of the installation, so please stay tuned for photos and videos of this exciting permanent installation! Here’s an inspiring look inside the new Perelman Performing Arts Center!
